Appledram (or Apuldrum) is a small parish to the south west of Chichester, on the north eastern upper reach of the harbour.

Most of the parish is farmland, with access to the harbour at Dell Quay. The church is dedicated to St Mary and is believed to have been built soon after 1100, but the present building was constructed in about 1250. The south aisle was added about a hundred years later.
