This site is written in PHP and accesses a MySQL database.

It is best viewed on a monitor with at least 1024 x 768 resolution and with Javascript enabled in your browser.

The site has been tested in Google Chrome, Opera and Apple Safari (our favourites), Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer; all on Windows 7.

06 Sep 2011	The 1841 census for Crowhurst has been tidied up which completes piece 1105 of the 1841 census.
10 Sep 2011	Added functionality to allow thumbnail browsing in the postcards and images section.

14 Sep 2011	Church pages and parish pages with text and previously no images now display an appropriate random view from the postcards and images database.
23 Sep 2011	We have today created a Facebook page for the Sussex OPC scheme - access from the Information menu.
30 Sep 2011	462 more postcards and images added.
30 Oct 2011	47 wills for Warbleton added to the database and 34 burials.
30 Oct 2011	34 Ticehurst marriages added (Piper surname)
11 Jan 2012	One Sussex Will added.
12 Jan 2012	Tidied up the postcard series and publisher information and added links to the excellent website, sussexpostcards.info (from the publisher detail screens) which provides much more information about Sussex postcard publishers and more examples of their work. As time goes past it is hoped that many of the postcards currently labelled 'publisher unknown' will be able to be correctly attributed using the information on this site created by Rendel Williams. I am grateful to him for providing the necessary information to create these links.
