DORMANT FUNDS IN COURT. SUPREME COURT PAY OFFICE, ROYAL COURTS OF JUSTICE, March 1, 1902. Funds. — The Supreme Court Funds Rules, 1894, provide that:— "On or before the 1st day of March in every third year the Paymaster shall prepare, in such form and with such particulars as the Treasury may from time to time direct, a list or statement of the accounts in the books of the Pay Office to the credit of which there stood on the 1st day of September then next preceding, any funds not less than £50, which have not been dealt with, otherwise than by the continuous investment or placing on deposit of dividends, during the 15 years immediately preceding the last-mentioned date. " (Rule 101. ) In pursuance of the above Rule, the following Alphabetical List of Accounts in the several Divisions of the High Court, which have not been dealt with since 1st September, 1886, is published in the London Gazette for general information, together with an Index of Names, and cross-references to the sub-titles of the several accounts. This is the only authorized List of dormant or unclaimed Funds in Court.
