The King has been pleased to grant to Inigo Freeman, of Ratton in the County of Sussex, Esq; and his Issue, His Royal Licence and Authority to assume and take the Surname of Thomas only, and bear the Arms of Thomas, in Compliance with the last Will of Sir George Thomas, late of Ratton aforesaid, Baronet, deceased, Grandfather of the said Inigo Freeman, such Arms being first duly exemplified according to the Laws of Arms, and recorded in the Heralds Office ; and also to order that this His Majesty's Concession and Declaration be registered in His College of Arms.
