ST. MARY. Restored in 1885; W. window inserted in 1897. This E.E. church has some Dec. and other additions, and a large wooden bell turret. There is some good woodwork to be seen; also a fine old yew tree, on which a man hanged himself on Easter Eve, 1675. Note: stocks in churchyard. Reg. 1663.
