The book contains 96 pages of text, maps and black and white photos. Eastbourne in Sussex was designated by the Home Office to have been the most raided town in the South-East region. The author worked for the Eastbourne Gazette & Herald and was uniquely placed to bear witness to many incidents and, later to research the full details of the town's ordeal.
