Harrison's description (1911):

TURRET added in 1885. This quaint little church has a rude chancel arch of early Nor. work and a Nor. window, a lancet, and some Dec. windows. Note: squint; Flemist alms dish; old altar slab with consecration crosses; aumbry; piscina; image bracket; trefoiled window within circle in W. wall; 11th c. font.

The picturesque cottage close to the church was built out of the ruins of the priory, some of the monks of which lie in the churchyard; it has some old carving and windows with mullions.
