NOTICE is hereby given, that Walter Duke, of Bexhill, in the county of Sussex, Farmer, hath by an indenture of assignment, bearing date the 22d day of November 1848, and made between the said Walter Duke, of the first part; George Thomas, of Bexhill aforesaid, Appraiser, and Joseph Oliver, also of Bexhill, Grocer, of the second part ; and the several other persons whose names are thereunto subscribed and seals affixed, by themselves or their several attornies or agents, of the third part; assigned all his personal estate and effects unto the said George Thomas and Joseph Oliver, their executors, administrators, and assigns, in trust, for the benefit of his creditors ; and that the said indenture of assignment was duly executed by the said Walter Duke on the said 22d day of November 1848, in the presence of, and attested by, Henry Bishop, of Hastings, in the Bounty of Sussex, Solicitor. ; and that the same indenture was duly executed by the said George Thomas and Joseph Oliver on the 24th day of November 1848, in the presence of, and attested by, Edwin Martin, of Battle, in the said county of Sussex, Solicitor; and notice is hereby further given, that the said indenture of assignment is now lying at the office of the said Henry Bishop, for execution by the several creditors of the said Walter Duke. All persons having any claim on the said Walter Duke are requested forthwith to forward the particulars thereof, in writing, to the said George Thomas and Joseph Oliver, or one of them, in order that the same may be examined and approved and all persons indebted to the said Walter Duke are desired forthwith to pay the amount of their respective debts to the same parties. — Hastings, 26th November 1848.
