This is the last Will and Testament of me Lucy Billinghurst of Strettington in the County of Sussex Widow that is to say I direct my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses to be fully paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently may be after my decease I give and bequeath all my property of every description unto and equally between my two surviving children namely William Billinghurst and Mary the Wife of Leonard Phillips but in case the said William Billinghurst shall die in my lifetime thn I give the share which would otherwise have devolved upon him to his Wife Fanny Billinghurst And in case she also shall die in my lifetime then I give such share equally between each of their children namely Francis Billinghurst Kate Billinghurst Lillie Billinghurst as shall survive me and in case the said Mary Phillips shall die in my lifetime then I give and bequeath the share which would have been devolved upon her unto her husband Leonard Phillips and their daughter Elsie Phillips equally to be divided between them and in I appoint my son William Billinghurst and this ???
