In the name of God amen &c. Sick of body but of good and perfect remembrance praise be God for it do make and ordain this my present testament and last will in manner and form following,

First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God hoping for the remission of my sins by the precious blood-shedding of my lord and saviour Jesus Christ and my body to be buried within the churchyard of Warbleton within the county and diocese before specified.

To the poor man's box. immediately after my decease 12d. of lawful money of England. Item I give and bequeath unto John BACHELOR my son £6 of good and lawful money of England and to the heirs of his body lawfully begotten and for default of heirs of the body of the aforementioned John BACHELOUR lawfully begotten to return and remain to John JENNYNGE my son-in-law and Kathrin his wife which £6 before given and bequeathed to the aforesaid John BACHELAR my son I appoint and constitute to be paid by John JENNINGS my son-in-law or Katherin his wife or by the heirs executors or assigns of any of them at the end and term of four years this next and immediately after my decease first fully to be complete and ended and not before.

Item I give and bequeath to George BACHELOR my son £4 to him and his heirs lawfully begotten by the foresaid named John JENNINGS and Katheren his wife their heirs executors or assigns or by any one out of them at the end and term of four years this next and in default of heirs of the said George BACHELOR &c. all other goods cattells moveables and immoveables and whatsoever not already bequeathed I give and bequeath to John JENYNS my son-in-law and Kathern his wife whom I ordain and constitute my lawful executors and to the heirs of their body lawfully begotten for ever provided always that my said son-in-law shall provide or cause to be provided this my present testament and last will at his own …... and charges and that within two months next after my decease at the farthest

Also I constitute and appoint John OLIVER my lawful overseer for the fulfilling of this my present testament and last will and all other bequests within the same bequeathed unto whom I give and appoint -for his pains in that behalf 3s. 4d. Witnesses at the making ratifying and establishing Thomas LANDES John OLIVER Robert ABBOT hereof the writer with others.
