To the KING's Most Gracious Majesty, The humble Address of the Bailiff, Jurats, Recorder, Town-Clerk, Freemen and Inhabitants of the Town and Port of Seaford, in the County of Sussex. WE, the Bailiff, Jurats, Recorder, Town-Clerk, Freemen and Inhabitants of Seaford, humbly beg Leave to assure your Majesty, that we most heartily join with the Rest of our Fellow-Subjects in congratulating your Majesty upon your happy Recovery from your late severe Indisposition. That our Hearts, ever zealously attached to your Royal Person and Government, have waited with anxious Solicitude and Expectancy for that happy Event, which has preserved to us a Sovereign possessed of every Virtue that can add Lustre to the Crown, or Dignity to the Man. That while we enjoy the many Blessings of your Reign, we cannot but be thankful to your Majesty for the Choice and Continuance of those Ministers, to whose steady and upright Conduct, under your Majest's Guidance, your Kingdom owes the good Order of its Finances, the Extension of its Commerce, the Recovery of its ancient and most natural Ally, the Addition of a most respectable one, and the general Prosperity of your Majesty's Empire. That Almighty God may long continue your auspicious Government over a happy and grateful People, has been and will be our fervent and unremitting Prayer; [Delivered by Joseph Goldsmith, Esq; Bailiff, and William Kempe, Esq; Recorder ].
