Memorandum that Thomas Comber late of Philpotts in the County of Suusex batchelor deceased but dying within the parish of St. Andrewes Holborne London being sick and vocate in body but of perfect mind and memory did on or about the Thirtieth day of December 1678 make and declare his last will and testament nuncupatius or by word of mouth in these or the like words following vizt my debts and funeral charges being first paid I bequeath to my three brethren Nathaniel John and Robert Comber the sum[m]e of ffowerscore pounds a yeere That is to say to every one of them severally so much a[nd] also bequeath to my sister Elizabeth Redding of Pinner in the county of Midd[lese]x the like sum[m]e of ffowerscore pounds. And withall ordered that what amounst his Three Brothers and sister or worde to the same effect in the presence of credible witnesses whome he desired to take notes thereof or to that effect Signum Josephi Mand Hannah Fferguson Philipp Comber

Ultimo Die meno Januarii Anno dni (stilo angliae) millesimo Sexcentesimo Septuagesimo octavo Emanavit Commissio[ ] Elizabetha Redding uxori Thomae Redding Soyori naturali et legitimate et Legatarice Principalli Testamenti nuncupativi Thomae Comber nuper de Philpotts In Cond. Sussex ---- defuncti habentis ips[ ] as administrand [] bona Iura et credita eiusdem defunti –undum tenorem et effectum dicti Testamenti.
