TO be peremptorily sold, pursuant to an Order of the Court of Bankruptcy, made in the matter of Charles Poile, with the approbation of Edward Holroyd, Esq. one of the Commissioners of the said Court, at the George Hotel, Rye, on Wednesday the 29th day of July 1846, at five o'clock in the afternoon, by Mr. R. Alce: A desirable freehold estate, situate in the parishes of Brede and Udimore, in the county of Sussex, known by the name of Twist-wood, and comprising 9A. 2R. 10P. or thereabouts, of very superior wood land. The property is about seven miles distant from the market towns of Rye, Hastings, and Battle, and adjoins the turnpike road leading from Rye to Vinehall. The soil is very fertile, and well stocked with young, thriving, and luxuriantly-growing underwood, principally consisting of ash and chesuut, producing the best description of hop poles, and interspersed with oak timber; there is also about half an acre of choice osier bed. The estate abounds in all kinds of game, well calculated to afford excellent sport, and is almost entirely surrounded by wood land. The coppice and timber to be taken at a valuation, downward, to 1s. per stick. A map of the premises will be shewn on the day of sale. For particulars apply to Mr. Butler, Solicitor, Rye; Messrs. C.
