In the name of God Amen I William Langridge of Eastgrinsted in the Countie of Sussex being sicke in bodie but of perfect memorie doe macke this my last wile and testement this twentie seaventh day of Decem won thousan six hundred & twelve in manner & forrme following that ys to sey. First and bequth my bodie to the earth from whence it came and my soule to God my saver. Item I give and bequeth my housse and land wth the apurtnsses in East Grinsted aforsayd ... the .... with all the ...pelments and ........therein to Anne my wyfe during ..... paying to Robart my sonne twentie shillings a yeare after he shale accomplishe the age of seven yeres duering the liffe of Anne my wyffe. But if it shale happen that the sayd twentie shillings shale be ..... to John Langridg my ......... the same to be payd to the behouffe of Robart my sone then it shalbe laffule and the .... of the ... and the same to detayne and keepe in his hands till the sayd yearley rent of xxs be payd acording to the .... of the sayd Willyam Langridge. Item I give & bequeth to my three daughters Rosse, Anne & Elizabeth fortie shillings apece to be payd to either of them at ther ages of forten yeares the which monie shalbe paid to John Langridge aforesayd to the ....... of my sayd daughters by Anne my wyffe.
