Notes:

This building started life as St John's Free Church (Baptist), and was designed by a local architect, Herbert Caley. It was built in 1901 at a cost of £7.500 and as a result of the minister, James Mountain, of Emmanuel Church being converted to adult baptism. He raised a building fund and took many of his former congregation with him.
In 1939 it became St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, and when the Congregational and Presbyterian Churches united it became the United Reformed Church.
This building is situated on Mount Ephraim, on the London Road, almost opposite the site of the now demolished Emmanuel Church.
