Harrison's description (1911):

This entry is appended to the information about St Botolph's Church. Near this church are the remains of Hardham Priory, founded in the reign of Henry III. The style is E.E. The ruins comprise the chapter-house with some arcading and the refectory, now forming the farmhouse. Pointed arches with quatrefoil piercings, slender detached shafts, and dog-tooth moulding may still be seen. Beneath is a cellar with groined vaulting supported by pillars.
