Notes: Portslade Community College in the High Street, Portslade was originally a private boarding school called Windlesham School (now Portslade Community College run by the Local Authority). It was founded by Mrs Catherine Malden who purchased the Old Carfax Church, Oxford, which was demolished in 1896 (leaving the tower standing) and rebuilt stone by stone as a school chapel at her new Portslade school.
The chapel was dedicated to All Saints by the Bishop of Lewes in 1913.
