ICKLESHAM is about eight miles from Hastings, three from Rye, and one from Winchelsea, in the Rye Union, Hastings rape, and Guestling hundred. It is a small, unimportant parish, containing a population of 728, The church is a small fabric, and the living a vicarage, in the patronage of the Bishop of Oxford, and incumbency of the Rev. Henry B. Whittaker, M.A.

Letters are received through Rye, which is the nearest Money Order Office.
