Notes:

Built for Independent Calvinistic Baptists in 1831 and renovated in 1878, this chapel later became Strict Baptist and was sometimes served by pastors from the Rehoboth Chapel at Pell Green. Religious use ceased in about 1971 and the chapel was deregistered in 1994. The cause originated in a house in nearby Russell's Green. Source Wikipedia.
The chapel is attached to an old house built about 1636 called Prospect House. The Baptist chapel recorded Sunday attendances of on average, 175 for the am service and 140 at the pm service during 1851.
Centenary postcards were printed in 1931.
