Location: East Wall of the Ratton Chapel.

Inscription:

This is for remembrance of Mrs. Ellinor Parker, widow, daughter of Will Waller of Groombridge. Esq. - Wife to Tho: Parker of Ratton, Esq. with whom he lived 52 years. She survived 20 years. When in a quiete minde lifting her handes up to Heaven said “O Lord receave my soule”. She died the 26th February AD 1598 and was here interred with her beloved husband as she desired. She had three children. One daughter that died an infant and two sonnes, Nicholas and John now living, both Knights. All her husbands life she agreed with his dispositions to spend with great plente and bountie in hositallite. She was temperate, mild, gentel in behaviour, very charitable, pious and devout. To conclude for goodness her life and death deserve perpetual memory. She was 83 years of Age.
