Harrison's description (1911):

ST. MARY. Additions made in 1897-8. This E.E. church has a rebuilt nave, but the elegant chancel and tower are old. There is a low-side window on N. side, the second on the S. side having been removed when vestry was built; moulded piscina; font, Perp. Note: old cross on stone in gable, and coffin lid.
