Style: Early English of flint with stone dressings. Nave, chancel with west tower,.

Harrison's description (1911):

ST. LEONARD. Rebuilt on old foundation in 1878, after having been in ruins for a century and a half. At E. end are two lancets with foliated circle, partly original work.

Enlarged in 1930-6 by H M Milburn Pett - the old portion is now the south aisle. The original medieval church had become ruinous by about 1760.
