Notes:

Situated away from the village in a clearing on the wooded common. Built on the instruction of Mr. William Peachey (Lord of the Manor) and consecrated on 1st September 1868. A foundation stone at the east end carries Mr Peachey's initials. A separate parish was created in 1874.
