Itchingfield is a parish in the north corner of West Sussex. There is now only a small hamlet called Itchingfield, the main centre of population is now Barns Green a village 2 miles to the south.
The 12th century parish church is dedicated to St Nicholas. It was restored and a new aisle built in 1866. The nave and chancel are Norman, with several Norman and Decorated windows. The low tower, composed of large blocks of wood, is pinned by wooden bolts.
