Harrison's description (1911):

ST. MARY. This E.E. church has nince lancets in the chancel; aumbry; piscina; low-side window; and a reliquary under central lancet of E. window. Note: traces of early arcade in S. wall, and of mural paintings in the N. wall of nave; early 12th c. N. door. Reg. 1558.
