THE Creditors who have proved their Debts under a Commission of Bankrupt awarded and issued forth against William Hardwick, late of Alfriston, in the County of Sussex, but now of Poynings, in the County of Sussex, Farmer, Dealer and Chapman, are requested to meet the Assignees of the said Bankrupt's estate and effects, on Tuesday the 5th day of September next, at Twelve o'clock at Noon, at the Old Ship Tavern, Brighton, to take into consideration a certain proposal in writing, bearing date the 18th day of this instant August, made by Mr. John Hitchin, of Clapham-House, in the said County, to Mr. Thomas Attree, the Solicitor to the said Commission, with the view to put an end to divers differences at present existing between the said John Hitchin and the said Assignees; also to take into consideration the propriety of giving directions to the said Assignees to consent that the said Commission should be superseded; and also to assent to or dissent from the said Assignees commencing, prosecuting, or defending any suit or suits at law or in equity, for the recovery of any part of the said Bankrupt's estate and effects; or to the compounding, submitting to arbitration, or otherwise agreeing any matter or thing relating thereto; and on other special affairs.
