In the name of god Amen I ANDREW WHITINGTUN of the p[ar]ish of WEST GRENSTED and of the diocese of Chichester in the County of Sussex husbandman beinge in good Remembranc thankes be to god doe make this my last will and testament In maner and forme following first I bequeathe my soule to allmightie god and my body to the earth frome whence it came theire to be buried in the Church yard of WEST GRENSTED

It[e]m I will and give unto my sonne THOMAS WHITINGTUN the sum of five pounds to be paied with in one whole yere next after my decease

It[e]m I will and give unto my daughter MARY WOLLVEN wife of RALFE WOLLVEN twenty shillings And to hir sonn JOHN ten shillings to be paid within one whole yere next After my decease

It[e]m I will and give unto my daughter ELIZABETH wife of THOMAS ELVIE twenty shillings And to hir to sonnes THOMAS and MYCHAEL ten shillings a pece to be pai[e]d within one whole yere next after my decease

It[e]m I will and give unto my daughter AGNES the fether bed I ly upon with that be longeth unto him and she to have the said fether bed at the death of her mother or at the daye of hir mariag which of them shall com first

It[e]m I will and give more unto my daughter AGNES twenty shellings to be paid with In one whole yere next after my deces

the Residues of all my goods and Chattelles not before given my depts. And legaces payed and my funeral Expences discharged I will and give and bequeath unto my wife LEETES whome I ordaine and make my whole executer of this my last Will and testament And my testimony that this is my last Will and testament I have here unto subscribed my Warrant the nine and twenty day of December in the yeare of our Lord god 1620[?]
