Will of John Heather of Worthing

This is the Last Will and Testament of me John Heather of Worthing in the County of Sussex Coal Merchant made when in good health and of Sound disposing mind memory and Understanding whereby I give devise and bequeath all that Messuage or Dwellinghouse Hereditaments and Premises with the Appurtenances being numbered five Situate in Warwick Buildings in Worthing aforesaid And also all and Singular my Household Goods furniture Plate Linen China and Effects thereto belonging And all that Messuage or Dwellinghouse Hereditaments and Premises with the Appurtenances being numbered twenty two Situate on the Steyne aforesaid And also all and Singular my Household Goods furniture Plate Linen China and Effects thereto belonging And also all that my Pew numbered forty Seven Situate in the Chapel of Ease in Worthing aforesaid And also all and Singular my real and Personal Estates whatsoever and wheresoever unto my dear Wife Rose Heather and her Assigns for and during the term of her natural life And from and immediately after the decease of my said Wife then I give devise and bequeath the said Messuage or Dwellinghouse Hereditaments and Premises with their respective Appurtenances and the said Household Goods furniture Plate Linen China and Effects belonging to the said Messuage or Dwellinghouse Hereditaments and Premises and all other my said real and Personal Estates whatsoever and wheresoever unto my dear Daughter or reputed Daughter Dinah the Wife of Thomas Harvey Goble of Worthing Cabinet Maker her heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever and I do hereby declare my Will and mind to be that the devise and bequest hereby made by me to my said Daughter or reputed Daughter Dinah the Wife of Thomas Harvey Goble shall not be in any wise Subject to or liable to the debts Controul or engagements of the said Thomas Harvey Goble her Husband but that the same shall be to and for her own Sole and Separate use and benefit And I do nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Rose Heather Sole Executrix of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said John Heather the Testator have to this my Last Will and Testament contained in one Sheet of Paper Subscribed my name and affixed my Seal this twenty first day of November in the Year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty three John Heather his mark X and Seal
