Whitehall, August 12, l834. The King has been pleased to give and grant unto Sir Peregrine-Palmer-Palmaer-Acland, of Fairfield, in the county of Somerset, and of Newhouse, in the county of Devon, Bart. only surviving child of Sir John Palmer-Acland, late of Fairfield and Newhouse aforesaid, Bart, deceased, by Elizabeth his first wife, who was the daughter of the Reverend Henry Fuller, Clerk, and niece of John Fuller, late of Catsfield, in the county of Sussex, Esq. also deceased, His royal licence and authority, that he and his issue may, in pursuance of a direction contained in the last will and testament of the said John Fuller, Esq. take and use the surname of Fuller, in addition to and before his and their present surnames of Palmer-Acland; and also, from respect to the memory of the testator bear the arms of Fuller; quarterly with those of Palmer and Acland ; such arms being first duly exemplified according to the laws of arms, and recorded in the Heralds’ Office, otherwise -His Majesty's said licence and permission to be void and of none effect: And also to command, that the said royal concession and declaration be registered in His Majesty's College of Arms.
