In the Name of God Amen I Elizabeth Saywell of the City of Chichester of the County of Sussex do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say first I commend my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God believing everlasting Life by the Merrits of Jesus Christ my Lord and only Saviour and for the Settling of that Worldly Estate which it hath pleased God to bless me with I dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give my Sister Levitt one Hundred Pounds Item I give my Nephew Doyley One Hundred Pounds Item I give my Cousin John Backshell fifty Pounds I give my Cousin Ann Peckham fifty Pounds Item I give to the Charity School of Chichester fifty Pounds for the use of the Blue Girls Item I give Twenty Pounds to the Poor of the Town to be disposed of as my Sister Smith Thinks Proper after my Debts Legacys and funeral Expences paid and discharged I give the whole Income of my Estate to my Sister Anne Smith during her Life and after her decease Item I give to my Cousin Andrew Mi... eight Hundred Pounds of good and lawfull Money of Great Britain to him and his Heirs for ever then I appoint my Nephew Mr Thomas Doyley full and sole Executor to all the Rest residue and Remainder of my Estate freehold Copyhold Messuages Lands Tenements Personal Estate whatsoever to him and his Heirs for ever then I constitute and appoint my Cousin John Backshell and my Sister Levitt Trustees to this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all Wills by me made
Dear Sisters and Brothers I make this Request if my Will be not made to the exact Letter of the Law this is my Desire therefore beg you not to make any Disputes this is the Request of a dying friend Eliz Saywell
