Will of William Hobeame of Warbleton

In the name of god amen etc the ninth day of November 1593 I Willyam Hobeame of the parish of Warbleton husbandman being sick of body but whole of mind and of perfect remembrance thanks be to God do ordain and make this my last will and testament in manner and form following.

First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God my creator believing steadfastly that through the death and passion of his only begotten son Jesus Christ and through faith in him to be an inheritor of the kingdom of heaven and to have a joyful resurrection both of body and soul and I will my body to be buried in the churchyard of the parish of Warbleton.

Item I will and bequeath unto Willyam Hobeame my son £6.13.4 of good and lawful money of England to be paid unto him by my executrix

Item I will and bequeath unto Thomas and Richard and Marie and Anabell my children to either of them £3 5s apiece of good and lawful money of England

Item I will and bequeath unto Roger Hobeame my son 40s of good and lawful money of England.

All the residue of my goods and cattell my debts and legacies paid and my children brought up in the fear of God I give unto Anabell my wife whom I do make my whole executrix of this my last will and testament.
