Will of William Dungate of Warbleton

In the name of god amen, I William Dungate of the parish of Warbleton &c. being sick in body but perfect in memory thanks be to Almighty God ob ordain and make this my last will and testament in manner and forme as followeth,

First I bequeath my soul into the hands of Almighty God hoping through the bloodshedding of Christ Jesus to have forgiveness of all my sins and to have everlasting life after this mortal life and. my body to be buried whereas it shall please the Lord.

Item I give and bequeath to the poor mens box of Warbleton 12d.

Item I give and bequeath to Mary DUNGATE my daughter £10 to be paid to her at the day of her marriage or else within six months after my decease by the hands of my executor and overseer. And further my wi11 is that if my daughter Mary do marry to my executor and overseer minds then I give to her £10 more to be paid to her six months after the day of her marriage. And if it fortune that my daughter Mary do not marry then my will is that she shall have 13s. 4d by the year out of that £10 during her natural life to be paid to her by the hands of my executor and my overseer. <br. Item to Edward CROWE my son-in-law £10 within six months.

Item to William AVERYE my son-in-law my cupboard after the decease of my wife.

Item to Margerye my wife all my household stuff whatsover all my cattell whatsoever as Kyne steers twelvemonthings and weaniers and my hogs all my poultry and also my corn and hay.

Item to William AVERYE my son-in-law £10 within six months of my decease by the hands of my overseer and my will is that my son-in-law William AVER YE shall be mine executor of trust to see these my bequeaths the which I have given to be truly paid and contented the which bequeaths are £40 the which £40 is in the hands of Thomas FARMER of the parish of Warbleton and further my-will is that whensoever my executor shall travel in any business of this my will his charges shall be borne by Margerye my wife. And also I ordain my well-beloved in Christ Thomas FARMER to be my overseer of this my last will to see it fulfilled and I give to him for his labour 6d and my will is that all the profit the which shall be of the foresaid £10 that Margerye my wife shall have it until the legacies be payable
