Will of Richard Browne of Warbleton

In the name of god amen I Richard Browne of Warbleton being sick in body but of perfect mind thanks be unto God do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following.

First I give unto the poor of the parish Ÿ

Item I will unto Richard Browne my eldest son £50 of lawful money to be paid unto the overseers hands the 25 day of March next to be put out unto the most profit until he comes of full age of 21 years.

Item I will unto Calebe my second son £10 of legal money to be paid unto the overseers hands the 25th day of March next coming to be put out unto the most profit to the use and behalf of the said Calebe until he come unto the age of 22 years.

Item I will unto Nicholas Browne and Henrye Browne my two other sons ten pounds apiece of legal money to be paid unto the overseers hands the 25th day of March next coming until they or either of them do accomplish the age of 22 years.

Item I will unto my daughter Mary £10 of lawful money to be paid unto my Overseers on the 25th day of March next to be put out unto the most profit until she do accomplish the age of 18 years.

Item my very will and meaning is that if either of my sons or daughter do decease before they accomplish their several years that then they that shall then be alive to divide the other portions equally among the rest.

Item I will that Mary my wife shall be my executrix and have all the rest of my goods my debts paid my children brought up and my will well fulfilled provided always and my very meaning and will is of this my last will that if my said wife do not prove my will within 60 days after my decease then I will that William Browne my brother to be my executor of trust and to prove my will and he to have for his trouble 6/8 and be my overseer of this my will written 25th day of January 1592.
