Will of Henry Piles of Westbourne

This is the last will and testament of me Henry Piles of Westbourne in the county of Sussex labourer ________ I give _________ my five freehold messuages or tenements gardens __________ and premises with __________ situate at Warnford in the county of Southampton and _______ in the ________ occupation of messrs Mansbridge Woodall Green Gregory and unto my respected friends Joseph Smith of Westbourne aforesaid merchant and Michael Turner of the same place yeoman their heirs and assigns but upon trust _________ the my said trustees or the survivor of them or the heirs and assigns of their survivors all and __ as soon as _________ may be after my bereave sell and dispose of my said (messuages) or tenements either by public sale or auction or by private contract to ____ person or persons as ____ all or may be willing to become the purchaser or purchasers thereof who having paid his her or their purchase ________ unto and obtained a receipt or receipts for that _____ from my said trustee or trustees shall thereby be acquitted and discharged of and from ______ _______ money as in ______ receipt or receipts shall be acknowledged or _______ to be ________ shall not be answerable or accountable for any loss misapplication non applicaton thereof And as to for ________ the sum or sums of money which shall arise or be received by or from such trustees or trustee for the trust (being) shall and do in the first place after accounting the expense of making ______ sale or sales and ______ expenses and thereto pay the said Joseph Smith the money which he has had the goodness to lend me and all _______ _______ sum or sums of money as _______ ________ indebted to him at the time of my death And all of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and invest the residue and remainder thereof on ________ or other good security at interest in his or their names or name and vary alter or ________ _______ _______ and _______ when as and often as ______ they may think proper and shall and so pay apply and dispose of the proceeds and product thereof as and when the same shall be ________ unto my dear wife during her widowhood to enable her to support (educate) and bring up my son and from and after the death or marriage of my said wife upon ______ ______ to pay apply assign and dispose of the whole of the stocks funds and securities unto my said son his (heirs) and (assigns) But if my said son shall happen to die under the age of twenty one years and without having lawful _______ _______ ______ _______ _____ that they my said trustees or trustee shall and do pay and * apply and dispose of the residue thereof unto any equally between my next of kin share and share alike and subject also to the payment of my just debts and funeral and decease convert the same into money and pay and apply the same unto and for the benefit of my said wife and child in sure way and (manner) as they my said trustees shall think proper and my will is that they my trustees and ______ of them and their and ______ of their ______ ______ and ______ respectively shall and may (by) with and out of ______ monies as shall ______ to their _______ by virtue
