TO be sold, pursuant to an Order of the High Court of Chancery, made in a cause of Grant v. Bridger, and with the approbation of the Vice-Chancellor Wood, the Judge to whose Court the said cause is attached, by Messrs. C. B. Smith and Davies, the persons appointed by the said Judge, in several lots as to part thereof, at the Red Lion Hotel, Petersfield, on Tuesday, the 13th day of September, 1864; and as to the remaining part thereof, at the Anchor Hotel, Chichester, on Wednesday, the 14th day of the same month, at two o'clock in the afternoon of each day, Various freehold, copyhold, and (in small part) long leasehold estates in the county of Sussex (late the property of William Milton Bridger, Esq. , deceased), as follows; viz. :— At the Red Lion Hotel, Petersfield, on the said 13th day of September, 1864, in eight lots, a freehold farm, called Dumpford Park Farm, in the parishes of Trotton, Elsted, and Hurting, consisting of 29 acres; a farm called Tye Oak and Woodhouse, in the parishes of Harting and Elsted, containing about 266 acres, of which about 35 acres are long leasehold, and the remaining part is freehold; a freehold cottage, with meadow adjoining, and plantation, containing together 8A. IR. 16P. , at Retford, in the parish of Woolbeding; a plantation, containing 2A. 3R. 12p. , at Heyshott, near Midhurst; a copyhold cottage, garden, and meadow, at Leggatt Hill, in the parish of Lodsworth, containing 6A. OR. 10P. ; a copyhold farm, known as Lickfold, in the parish of Lodsworth, containing 85A. 2R. 28P. ; a cottage and garden at White's Green, in the parish of Surgashall, in the occupation of William Boxall; and a small copyhold farm, known as Old Jane's Farm, near River, in the parish of Tillingdon, containing 14A. 2R. 27P. And at the Anchor Hotel, Chichester, on the said 14th day of September, 1864, in eleven lots — A freehold farm, called Church Farm, at West Itchenor, containing 123A. 3R. 18P. ; a copyhold farm at Tangmere, within a short distance of Chichester, containing 43A. 2R. 5P. ; about 10 acres of copyhold land, at Rocks, in the parish of Hunston, in the occupation of Mrs. Frances Millyard; a copyhold beer-house and buildings, and about 14 acres, of land, at North Mundham ; a freehold house, and about 14 acres of land, at South Mundham, in the parish of Pagham, with the tithes thereof; a copyhold farm, known as Pond Land, in the parish of West Chiltington, about three miles from Pulborough, comprising about 26 acres; three freehold houses, Nos. 73, 74, and 75.
