In the name of God Amen, the 12th day of January Anno Dom 1732, I Jude Kemp of Tyshurst in the county of Sussex, yeoman, to make and ordain, this my present last will and testament, in a manner and form following, that is to say, first and principally I command my soul into the hands of Almighty God, hoping through the meritis death and passion of my saviour Jesus Christ to have full and free pardon of all my sins, and to inherit everlasting life, and my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor here after named and as touching the disposition of all such temporal estate as it hath please almighty God to bestow upon me, I give and dispose as followeth:
Item: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Judith twenty pounds and my will and mind is that all the rest of my moveable goods, chattels and credits whatsoever and whereforever as in whose hand soever shall be equally divided between my two daughters Mary and Judith and I do appoint my two daughters to be my full whole and sole executrixes of this my last will and testament and I do make void all other wills by me heretofore made or declared and only be betaken for my last will and testament in witness where of I have here unto set my hand and seal this day and year first above written …
