Will of William Woolbridge of West Chiltington

In the name of God Amen I WILLIAM WOOLBREIDGE of the parrish of CHILTINGTON in the County of Sussex yeoman being sicke in body but of good and p[er]fect remembrance Thankes be given to Almighty God doe make and ordaine this to be my last Will and Testament in man[n]er and forme followeing First and above all other things in the World I will and bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my maker hopeing by the merritts of Jesus Christ my blessed redeemer to receive free pardon & forgivenesse of all my Sins & my body to the earth from whence it came to be buried in Christeale buriall at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named

Item I give & bequeath unto my Brother THOMAS WOOLBREIDGE of PULBOROUGH the sume of one shilling

Item I give unto ELIZABETH my sister being the wife of THOMAS SELDEN of GOREING the sume of Tenn pounds of lawfull mony of England to be paid to hir w[i]thin Six monthes next after my decease

Item I give unto my sisters sonne WILLIAM SELDEN the sume of Tenn pounds to be paid to him at the age of one and Twenty yeares

Item I give unto my sisters daughter ELIZABETH SELDEN the sume of Tenn pounds to be paid to hir at the age of Twenty yeares

Item I give unto MARY WOOLBREIDGE my Brother HENRYs daughter the sum[m]e of Twenty pounds to bee paid to hir at the age of eighteen yeares

Item I give unto JOANE WOOLBREIDGE my brothers daughter the sum[m]e of Twenty pounds to bee paid to hir at the age of eighteen yeares

Item I give unto SUSSAN WOOLBREIDGE my brothers daughter the summe of Twenty pounds to bee paid to hir at ye age of eighteen yeares

Item I give unto EDWARD WOOLBREIDGE my brothers youngest sonne all the interest of the Three score pounds before given

And my will is that which is left over and above the legacies & my funerall expences being all paid & discharged it shalbe equally devided amongst my Brothers Three daughters MARY JOANE & SUSAN

And I doe hereby make my brother HENRY WOOLBRIEDGE full & whole executor of this my Will Wittnes whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seale this Eleventh day of February in the xxii th yeare of the Raigneof our Soveraigne Lord King Charles the Second Anno D[om]in[i] 1669 WILLIAM WOOLBREIDGE his marke Sealed & delivered this to be my last Will & Testament in the p[re]sents of THOMAS WADE ERASMUS ELLIOTT his marke
