WHEREAS a Petition of William Brasier, at present, and for six months and eleven days last past, residing at No. 2, Hanover-street, in the parish of Cheltenham, in the county of Gloucester, and being out of business, and for one year and six months previous residing at No. 349, in the High-street, in the parish of Cheltenham aforesaid, and being a Grocer and carrying on the said business of a Grocer there, and during part of that time (that is to say), from the month of October 1841, to the month of December 1842 inclusive, at the last named place, carrying on the same business in the name of Harriet Brazier, and for four years previous residing at No. 143, in the High-street, in the parish of Cheltenham aforesaid, and being a Grocer, and for six-weeks previous residing at No. 347, in the High-street, in the parish of Cheltenham aforesaid, and being a Fishmonger, and for six years previous residing in the parish of Catsfield, near Battle, and county of Sussex, and being a Grocer, having been filed in the Bristol District Court of Bankruptcy, and the interim order for protection from process having been given to the said William Brazier, under the provisions of an Act of Parliament, passed in the Parliament holden in the fifth and sixth years of the reign of Her present Majesty, intituled "An Act for the relief of insolvent debtors, " the said William Brazier is hereby required to appear in Court before Henry John Stephen, Serjeant at Law, the Commissioner acting in the matter of the said Petition, on the 18th day of December instant, at two o'clock in the afternoon precisely, at the Bristol District Court of Bankruptcy, at Bristol aforesaid, for the purpose of being then and there examined touching his debts, estate, and effects, and to be further dealt with according to the provisions of the said Act. All persons indebted to the said William Brazier, or that have any of his effects, are not to pay or deliver the same but to Mr. George Morgan, No. 2, Nicholas-street, Bristol, the Official Assignee, nominated in that behalf by the Commissioner acting in the matter of the said Petition.
