P. , Surgeon in Her Majesty's Indian Army, now residing at 6, St. Aubyn's-place, Clifton Villa, Hove, Brighton, in the county of Sussex, has given the like notice in respect of the invention of "improvements in apparatus for communicating between passengers and guards of railway trains, and between guards and engine drivers of railway trains. " As set forth in his petition, recorded in the said office on the 17th day of September, 1867.
