Will of William English of Horsham

The last Will and Testament of William English of Horsham in the County of Sussex Chapman as follows first I Give and bequeath unto my Son Moses English the Sume of One Hundred Pounds to be paid to him or his Assines at the Age of One and Twenty years And also Twenty Pounds to place him out an Apprentice to some Trade as he best like Also to my son George English who is now abroade the Sume of ffifty Pounds to be paid to him or his Assignes at the Age of One and Twenty Years Also to my Son in Law David David the sume of Ten Pounds to be paid to him within one Year next after my decease Also to my Daughter Ann the wife of John Sleany the sume of Twenty Pounds to be paid to her within One Year next after my decease Also to my Daughter Mary the wife of William Champion the sume of Twenty Pounds to be paid to her within One Year next after my decease And also the Plot of Ground in Horsham which I lately Purchased of John Gerring deceased containing an Acre of Ground more or less To hold to her and her Heirs and Assignes for ever Also to my Daughter Easter English ffifty Pounds to be paid to her or hr Assignes at the Age of One and Twenty Years by my Executors hereafter named Also I give and devise unto my loving wife Ann All that my two ffeilds lying in Horsham aforesaid containing about ffour Acres of Land which I purchased of William Tyler to hold to her and her Assignes during her natural life after to my son William English and his Heirs for ever All the rest and residue of my Goods Chattels Rights Credits and Personal Estate of what kind or nature soever I Give and bequeath unto my loving Wife Ann and to my son William English and to their Assignes after my debts and ffuneral expences paid to be equally divided between them share and share alike whom I make joint Executor and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament Also my will and meaning is that my wife Ann shall have the use and usage of all my Household Goods during her life after to all and every of my Children to be equally divided between them I also give and bequeath unto the Minister of my Church at Horsham the sume of Twenty Shilling to be paid Yearly and every Year for ever And I do hereby constitute and appoint my Neighbours and friends Mr Joshua Guildford and John Collis to be Guardians and Trustees to see this my Will performed To whom I give One Guinea a peice In Testimony whereof I the said William English the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained in One Sheet of Paper set my hand and seal this fourth day of April in the Year of our Lord One Thousand and Seven Hundred Thirty Six The marke of William English
