Will of Mary Jenden of Horsham

This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Jenden of Horsham in the County of Sussex Spinster first I do give and forgive unto every such person and persons that shall owe unto me any sum or sums of Money and all Interest that will be due thereon at the time of my Decease Also I give and bequeath unto my two sisters Elizabeth Crowder and Susanna Hood and Sarah Cole daughter of my late sister Ann Jones all my wearing apparell and linen of what kind soever to ne equally divided between and delivered unto them by my Executor herein after named share and share alike immediately after my Decease Also I give and bequeath unto Ann Daughter of my late Brother Philip Jenden by his Last Wife the sum of five pounds to be paid unto her within twelve months next after my decease All the Rest and Residue of my Estate both real and personal of what Nature or Kind soever and whatsoever which I shall be possessed of interested in or intitled unto at the time of my Death (after payment of my just debts and funerall expences)I give devise and bequeath unto my Brother Edward Jenden To hold to him his Heirs and Assigns forever In Trust and Confidence to have an Inventory and appraisement thereof taken and made by two indifferent persons (one to be chosen by my said Brother Edward Jenden and the other by my Brothers Henry Jenden and John Jenden as soon as my be after my Decease) and to divide all the money the same shall amount to into six equal Parts or Shares and pay and apply the said amount of money as follows that is to say To my Brother Henry Jenden one such sixth part or Share thereof To my Brother John Jenden one other sixth Part or Share thereof To my said Sister Elizabeth Crowder one other sixth Part or Share thereof To my two Nieces the said Sarah Cole and Elizabeth Wiffen Daughters of my late Sister Ann Jones one other sixth part thereof in equal proportions Share and share alike and to my said Sister Susanna Hood one other sixth part or Share thereof reserving to himself the remaining sixth part But my Will and Meaning is that if either or any of my said Brothers and Sisters shall happen to die before his her or their Part or Parts Share or Shares of my Estate aforesaid shall become Payable without lawful Issue of his her or their Bodies that the part or share parts or shares of him her or them so dying shall go to and be the Property of my other said Brothers and Sisters their Executors and Administrators equally Share and Share alike and unto whom I give and bequeath the same accordingly All which Parts or shares of my said Estate I do hereby direct shall be paid to my said Legatees within Twelve Months next after my Decease and I do so charge and make chargeable all that my freehold Estate being a Moiety of a Barn house farm and Lands in Horsham aforesaid with the appurtenances Premises or the Grounds with the payment thereof according to the Intent and Meaning of this my Will and I do nominate constitute and appoint my said Brother Edward Jenden sole Executor of this my will and I do hereby revoke annul and make void all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty ninth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two
