Will of William Waterton of Horsham

In the Name of God Amen I William Waterton the Elder of Horsham in the County of Sussex Currier being sicke in body but of good and perfect memory doe make publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following First I yeild my soule into the hands of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour in whose free adoption grant and mercy I doe wholly repose my Salvation and my Body I leave to the Earth to be interred at the discretion of my Executor hereunder named and concerning my worldly goods I will the same to be as followeth Inprimis I give and bequeath unto Dorothy Hudson my daughter the Summe of thirty pounds of lawfull mony of England which thirty pounds John Hudson her husband hath in his hands already Provided alwaies that the said John Hudson nor his hirs shall not molest nor trouble my Executor for any rent one for the land the said William Waterton did use or occupy of the said John Hudson Item I give and bequeath unto William Waterton sonne of Peter Waterton and and to William Waterton sonne of William Waterton my two grandchildren one bond of twelve pounds out from Thomas Lambe late of Horsham deceased to be equally devided betwixt them All the rest of my goods Cattells and Chattels whatsoever I give and bequeath unto Peter Waterton my Sonne and Bridget Waterton daughter of the said Peter my Sonne whom I make and ordaine the sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke and make voyd all former Wills and Testaments and Codicills whatsoever and my Will and meaning is that this shall stand and be taken for my last Will and Testament in witnesse whereof I have heerunto set my hand and seale the fower and Twentieth day of March in the year of Our Lord Christ (according to the computation of the Church of England) One thousand sixe hundred and forty and fower
