In the name of god amen I Richard Kempshall of Horsham in the county of Sussex carpenter do make and publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in the following that is to say first I give solely and occupation unto my two sons Timothy Kempshall and Richard Kempshall all least my two freehold properties and tenements with rights and apportions belonging situate lying and being in North Street in the borough of Horsham aforesaid now in the occupation of Ann Powell and Sarah Alridge widow and also all my two other messuages or tenements with their gardens and apportions belonging situate and being up Horsham Common now in the occupation of James Essy and Charles Banns and all my messuage or tenement and there gardens with the apportions situate in the parish of Horsham aforesaid within I now dwell unto my said sons Timothy Kempshall and Richard Kempshal and their heirs executors upon trust ? my sons so and suffer my wife Ruth Kempshall to hold and enjoy the messuage were I now dwell for and during for all of her natural life and also do and shall permit and support my said wife for wealth and take all rents and profits of my two messuages in the said North Street also for and during her full and natural life to and forever sole and separate use and benefit I do .... said be a sufficient discharge to the person or persons paying sure rents and from all after there my dearest said wife Ruth Kempshall. I give and bequeath all and every benefit messuage or tenement with there extensive rights and apportions unto my said sons Timothy Kempshall and Richard Kempshall and their heirs to be equally divided between them share and share alike also I give and bequeath unto my two said sons Timothy Kempshall and Richard Kempshall all my monies and effects for now standing in my own house only and all other estate and effects whatsoever now with afore given and bequeath to be equally divided between them share and share alike and I nominate and appoint my two said sons Timothy Kempshall and Richard Kempshall joint executors of this my last will and testament evoking all former and other wills by me at any time aforesaid. Richard Kempshall signed sealed and published the second day of January in the year one thousand eight hundred and two.
