In the Goods of GEORGE JOHNSTON PRESTON, formerly of Dunmore, in the City of Belfast, but late of 11 Eaton Square, London, D. L. , deceased. NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the Statute , 30 and 31 Vic. , cap. 54, that the above-named George Johnston Preston by his Will bearing date the 9th day of January, 1922, appointed his Widow, Ida Eliza Koch Preston, and Matthew Herbert Woods, Executors and Trustees thereof, and after bequeathing certain legacies, devised the residue of his estate and effects, whether real or personal, unto and to the use of the said Ida Eliza Koch Preston and Matthew Herbert Woods upon trust for sale as therein mentioned, and after payment of his funeral and testamentary expenses and debts, to pay to his Widow, the said Ida Eliza Koch Preston during her life the annuity in said Will mentioned, any surplus income in any year remaining after payment of such annuity to be reinvested and accumulated as part of Testator's residuary estate, and after the decease of Testator's Widow, he directed his Trustees, subject to the devise therein mentioned and the payment or satisfaction of the other pecuniary legacies therein also mentioned, to pay to the Incumbent and Churchwardens of St. James' Parish Church, Belfast, the sum of £1, 000, to be applied by them in erecting a Memorial Window in said Church to his said wife, and if there should be any balance remaining after the expense of erecting the said Memorial Window should have been provided for such balance, should be applied for the extension, renovation, or improvement of the said Church in such manner as the said Incumbent and Churchwardens for the time being or the majority of them should think fit, the receipt of the Treasurer for the time being of said Church to be a sufficient discharge to his Trustees for the said legacy, and as to all the residue of Testator's residuary estate which should remain after payment of the therein mentioned legacies and bequests, he devised and bequeathed me same to The Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, The Hospital for Sick Children, Queen Street, Belfast, The Belfast Cathedral, Donegall Street Belfast, and The Belfast Charitable Society, Clifton Street, Belfast, in equal shares, the receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer for the time being of the said respective Hospitals, Cathedral, and Charitable Society to be a sufficient discharge to his Trustees, and Probate of said Will was on the 27th day of February, 1923, granted forth of His Majesty's High Court of Justice in England, the Principal Probate Registry, to the said Ida Eliza Koch Preston, of 11 Eaton Square, London, aforesaid, Widow, and Matthew Herbert Woods, of Ote Hall, Wivelsfield, Sussex, in England, Esquire, the Executors in said Will named, and the said Grant of Probate was sealed with the Seal of the Principal Probate Registry of the High Court of Justice in Northern Ireland, on the 3rd day of August, 1923.
