Harrison's description (1911):

One of the four churches in Sussex having old stone spires. The N. door is Nor.; nave and chancel are E.E., possibly partly Tr. Nor. The E. end of chancel has fine triplet of lancets, with shafts of Purbeck marble and foliated capitals. Tower and spire are Perp. (lage 15th c.); S. aisle is modern; font 1648. Note: old seating; old chest; and aumbry. Reg. 1573.
