To be sold, pursuant to a Decree of the High Court of Chancery, made in a cause of Hodges v. Hodges, with the approbation of the Vice-Chancellor Giffard, in one lot, by Messrs. H. Brown and F. A. Roberts, the persons appointed by the said Judge, at the Auction Mart, Tokenhouse-yard, near the Bank of England, in the city of London, on Thursday, the 26th day of September, 1867, at one o'clock in the afternoon precisely:— Four inclosures of valuable marsh land, situate in the parish of East Guldeford, in the county of Sussex, and forming a portion of the celebrated Romney Marsh, formerly in the occupation of Benjamin Cobb and Thomas Paine, now deceased, or one of them, and containing, according to the outbound quantity, 76A. 3n. 19p. , held at the yearly rent of a peppercorn for anunexpired term of 500 years, commencing in 1729. The property will be sold at the reserved price of £6, 500, in default of a higher bidding. The property may be viewed on application to William Ockenden, the Looker, who will point out the land, and printed particulars and conditions may be had (gratis), in London, of Messrs. A. Roberts, No. 22, Throgmorten-street, Bank.
