The Bankruptcy Act, 1869. In the County Court of Sussex, holden at Lewes, A MEETING of the creditors of Henry Ford and William Henry Attwood, late of Zoar Villa, Pevensey-road, Eastbourne, in the county of Sussex, Builders, Brickmakers, and Saw Mill Proprietors, trading under the style or firm of Ford and Attwood, adjudicated bankrupts on the 28th day of November, 1870, will be held at the Bear Hotel, Cliffe, Lewes aforesaid, on the 8th day of March, 1871, at twelve o'clock at noon, for the purpose of determining the course to be adopted by the trustee with reference to the inability of the bankrupts to pay or obtain a satisfactory guarantee for payment of the computation of 4s. in the pound agreed to be accepted by the creditors at the Meeting held on the 18th day of January, l87l, and also further to consider the propriety of (sanctioning the acceptance by the trustee of a composition uttered on behalf of the bankrupts of 2s. in the pound, in satisfaction and discharge of their liabilities, the same to be paid within one month, or so soon thereafter as the sanction of the Court can be obtained, and for the annulling thereafter of the order of adjudication made against the bankrupts. — Dated this 25th day of February, 1871.
