I Elizabeth Brett of Lewis in the County of Sussex Spinster Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following I give and bequeath unto Apsley Brett of the Salt Office Thomas Kemp of Lewis Esquire all the Money I have in Bank Annuities or any other Government Securities whatsoever which I may be possessed of at the time of my Decease In Trust to Pay the Interest and Dividends thereof unto and to the use and behoofe of my Nephew William Brett Whitfield until he shall Attain his age of twenty one Years if he so long lives and from and after he shall Attain his age of twenty one Years then In trust to Pay Assign and transfer the said Bank Annuity and such other Stocks or Government Security and the Interest Dividends thereof unto the said William Brett Whitfield and if my said nephew shall happen to die before he Attain his age of twenty one Years then immediately after his Death in Trust to Pay Assign and transfer all the said Trust Money Stocks and Securities unto my Neice Catherine Brett her Executors Admors or Assigns I give unto my Nephew ffrancis Whitfield Ten Guineas All the rest residue and remainder of my Estate ffreehold and Copyhold and Personal or otherwise howsoever I give and bequeath unto my Neice Catherine Brett her Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and appoint the said Catherine Brett sole Executrix of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighteenth Day of July 1783 Elizabeth brett
