Will of Henry Hogsflesh of Lewes

Date signed: 25 Apr 1827, Probate date: 11 Jan 1830

This is the last Will and Testament of me Henry Hogsflesh late of the Cliff near Lewes but now of Ringmer in the County of Sussex Yeoman first I direct my Executor hereinafter named to discharge all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences I give and bequeath to my brother in law James Bartholomew of Lewes aforesaid Shoemaker all my household furniture and wearing apparel and I give and devise unto my friend The Reverend John Vinall of Lewes aforesaid Minister all that my Copyhold messuage or tenement situste in Half Moon Court in Brighthelmstone now in the occupation of To hold the same upon trust to permit my Cousin Sarah Hogsflesh of Southmalling in the same County Spinster to receive the rents and profits thereof during her life she keeping the same in tenantable repair and from and immediately after her decease To hold the same to the said John Vinall his Executors and Administrators with the residue of my personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever And I hereby constitute and appoint the said John Vinall Executor of this my Will and lastly I revoke all former Wills by me made In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty fifth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven _ the mark of Henry Hogsflesh
