THE Creditors who have proved their debts under a Commission of Bankrupt awarded and issued forth against John Stow Lundie, late of Copthorne, in the County of Sussex, and of Seymour-Street, Portman-Square, in the County of Middlesex, Builder, Dealer and Chapman, are requested to meet the Assignees of the said Bankrupt's estate and effects, on Wednesday the 23d day of May instant, at Twelve o'Clock at Noon, at the Court of Commissioners of Bankrupts, in Basinghall-Street, in the City of London, to assent, to or dissent from the said Assignees selling or disposing of the said Bankrupt's estate, or any part thereof, to the said Bankrupt, or any other person, by private contract, on such terms and conditions, and upon such credit and security as the said Assignees may think proper ; and also to assent to or dissent from the said Assignees paying or allowing any expenses incurred by Messrs. Hurly and Co. of Lewes, or any other person, relating to the choice of Assignees; and also to assent to or dissent from the said Assignees retaining and employing the said Bankrupt to make up the accounts, and any other person or persons as accountants or clerks in the investigation of the affairs of the said Bankrupt, or in collecting, recovering, and receiving the debts due and belonging to the said Bankrupt's estate, or otherwise in winding up the affairs of the said Bankrupt, and to the said Assignees making the said Bankrupt, or such other person or persons as they may employ as aforesaid, such allowance and compensation for their services respectively as the said Assignees may deem just; and also to assent to or dissent from the said Assignees commencing, prosecuting, or defending any suit or suits at law or in equity, or preferring or opposing any petition to the Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain, for the recovery of, or in anywise regarding or relating to, any part or parts of the estate and effects of the said Bankrupt ; and also to their submitting to arbitration, or otherwise agreeing any dispute, suit, or difference respecting, or in anywise concerning, such estate and effects; and also to compounding with any debtor or debtors to the said Bankrupt's estate, and accepting such composition or compositions in full discharge and satisfaction of their respective debts and giving time to the several persons who maybe indebted to the said Bankrupt's estate, with or without taking security for the same, or any part thereof.
